The line to check luggage was fucking ridiculous. I got to the airport at 710...My flight wsa at 836. I checked my bags at 742..I was in line for 10 minutes at security and then they moved us around to another line and I was at the back of this line. Then I was on the people mover at Dulles and we got held up for 2 or 3 minutes because there was a plane blocking the gate for the mobile lounge to park in.

I ran to my gate at the end of the concourse and they had already closed the doors to the plan. I had to go wait in line at customer service for over an hour and then do a baggage claim form.

I just got into the office. I have been walked all over the airport.

I'm not a happy camper.

Friday was going to be quite a chillable night at home. I was going to pack for my trip to Kansas and my cruise. But for some reason I started looking at rooms at Harrah's properties in Atlantic City for January...I think I was bored and it was slow at work....So just for shits and giggles I wanted to see what was available for Friday night. Well low and behold....I could get a comped room at Bally's for Friday night. Here's the catch...I had to be at a meeting at 1030 am in DC. But I figured that even if I could get about 3 hours of sleep..I should be good. So I called [livejournal.com profile] eurodancemix to tell him that plans had changed. I was coming to him...to pack an overnight bag and bring money. I didn't tell him where we were going though.

I got home from work in a little less then an hour which is a miracle for a Friday. I packed the majority of what I needed to in record time and I got to his house around 630pm and we got on the road. I didn't tell him until we got off the New Jersey Turnpike where we were going. I remember he told me that he hadn't been in years and I figured it would be something spontaneous and fun.

After all was said and done we got into the room around 930pm...They really had done the Tower up nice, it had been completely refurbished. We didn't get down to the casino though until about 1030pm though...You do the math. We came back up to the room around 145am and were asleep by 230...I had set the alarm for 545 and asked for a wake up call that woke me up 10 minutes early. We were in the car and on the road by 610am...I dropped Claude off at 915am and got to my meeting in DC by 1015...After that went to my parents house to check a few things since they were in Ocean City...then went to my house and crashed.

I woke up at 5pm and high tailed it down to Tysons to meet, [livejournal.com profile] jn1701e, [livejournal.com profile] candylyn, [livejournal.com profile] kasrael and [livejournal.com profile] eurodancemix for a night of gluttony at Maggiano's....I was gluttonous but not as y'all might think...It was fun.

After that I went to my parents house to help them a little.

Sunday was spent with my parents packing and going to a meeting. I went to bed early to catch my flight this morning.

From a previous post you can see what kind of cluster fuck I had this morning. I must have walked 3 to 5 miles today...so for all the gluttony that happened this weekend I think I walked it off.

I will say this.....like my coworker said...think about if you still had your back pain or that extra 94 pounds on you...what you would feel like....He's right. I was a little out of breath from running around but it was more like winded not out of breath. So I should be happy about that. I'm tired at this point, since I have been up since 515 and running all over hell's half acre.

Tonight, I'm gonna go to a meeting and then go home and chill out.

I'm in town until Friday at this point, but doing meetings tonight and tomorrow.

That's it for now.
